Staying Well Amongst COVID-19 Series with Dr. Rattan & Dr. Edshteyn

In this episode of Thrive Bites COVID Special Series, I sit down with both Dr. Ingrid and Dr. Rattan for this second TRIO talk about how do we stay well amongst ourselves and with loved ones through meditation, yoga, fitness and shifting our perspectives.

This is a *pre-recorded* multi LIVE show series about staying well, calm, and resilient from different experts from backgrounds of psychology, yoga, meditation, wellness and more. We are going to have live talks to discuss how to center ourselves and how to self-reflect on our internal and external world.

Dr. Rattan is a Canadian Board Certified in Family Medicine.  She also completed her Fellowship in Integrative Medicine & Certification in Integrative Health Coaching from the Andrew Weil Centre of Integrative Medicine. She is an American Board of Integrative Medicine Diplomate with the American Board of Physicians & Specialties and will be pursuing her American National Board certification in Health & Wellness Coaching. She has completed the Interprofessional Spiritual Care Education Curriculum (ISPEC) with Dr. Pulchalski & faculty from the George Washington Institute of Spiritual Health (GWISH).  She is also a Meditation Master Coach for over 20 years and is also a level 1 Tai Chi Instructor.

Dr. Ingrid’s broad studies in cognitive science, eastern philosophy, and medicine come together in her role as Founder at both Valia Lifestyle and Valia Fitness. Her passion dates back to 2004 when Dr. Ingrid established Cornell University’s Meditation & Yoga Club and served as President of Cornell's Seven Spirits Kung Fu organization. This training in mind and body science continued in medical school and then in Preventive Medicine residency, where she simultaneously earned her Executive Masters in Public Health from Columbia University's Mailman School. Dr. Ingrid is fortunate to share her passion for wellness and lifestyle design with the Valia Team, crafting unique programs for authentic health of body and mind.
