In this episode of Thrive Bites, I chat with Dr. Linda about what it takes to holistically raise children and practice self-care as parents.
Dr. Linda has been practicing medicine for 31 years and is on a mission to make holistic wellness and natural medicine readily available to every family who seeks it. She is Board Certified in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She has also trained in Acupuncture, Pediatric Hypnosis, Reiki, Energy Medicine, Clinical Homeopathy and Grief Recovery and is well-educated in the use of herbs and supplements to keep you healthy and restore you to health when it is temporarily lost.
Dr. Linda owned and operated her own Pediatric Integrative practice for 15 years while she was raising two very active children (now young adults) while dealing with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia as well as a sleep disorder. She was married for 20 years and was given the task of caring for her husband and supporting him during his transition after a losing battle with cancer. As a result of her education and training as well as her personal and professional experiences Dr. Linda sought out and developed holistic practices and solutions to support busy working parents in their quest for ultimate health and wellness in body, mind, emotions, and Spirit for both their children and themselves.
