Colin, first and foremost, is a student of life, always willing to learn and take on more. Colin takes in all the life experiences he can possibly muster for his personal and professional growth, and to share with his audiences. Colin has studied Osteopathic Medicine in West Virginia and is Board-Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Also, he is amongst the first class of physicians in the world to be Board-Certified in Lifestyle Medicine. In addition, he studied health-supportive and plant-based culinary arts at the Natural Gourmet Institute and health coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, both of which are located in Manhattan, New York.

Thrive Bites, the official podcast that started in May 2019, was borne out of the need to address a gap in health and wellness education and cutting through health misinformation while extracting concise insights in a conversational style with passionate guests and leading health experts. Colin focuses on incorporating a plant-powered lifestyle, enhancing emotional wellness, and creating a thriving mindset!

Colin currently works as a family physician and his traveling work has been featured in publications such as The DO, MedPage Today, Stat News, and GoWorldTravel. Colin is also the founder of TheChefDoc, an online wellness and lifestyle education platform which has been featured in Jarry Magazine and OWaves and Brit + Co. Colin is also the author of "Thrive Medicine: How To Cultivate Your Desires and Elevate Your Life," which has been released on December 15, 2017. Colin’s interests outside of medicine include triathlons, scuba diving, and globetrotting.
