In this very interesting episode of Thrive Bites, I chat with Ron Pratt about what it means to be out-of-state with our physical bodies and our outlook on life. He shares with us his story about going from a corporate trainer to a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. He shares with us his gems for wellness! Take a listen!
Ronald Pratt understands first hand the impact of stress. After more than a decade working on Wall Street and in Corporate America, Ronald reached career burnout. Years of long hours and late nights had finally caught up with him. Unable to focus and lacking the energy to push forward, Ronald sought help from a number of resources and found a significant benefit from Acupuncture. Ronald got his career back on track. Inspired by how much his health improved, Ronald decided to study Acupuncture.
Now a Licensed Acupuncturist and Lifestyle Medicine expert focused on helping patients optimize wellbeing to combat pain, anxiety, and stress-related conditions, Ronald is Board Certified by the NCCAOM and holds a Master of Acupuncture degree. Additionally, Ronald has a Master of Arts in Counseling and wrote his Thesis on Emotional Intelligence. Prior Ronald worked in Corporate Training, developing and presenting curriculum on Leadership, Management, Sales, Product, and Personal Growth.
Having spoken on international stages and worked with hundreds of patients in private practice, Ronald has always been a champion for empowering individuals with their wellbeing - physical, mental, and emotional. Ronald’s background in Corporate Training combined with his Acupuncture practice uniquely qualifies him to help patients learn to optimize stress in aspects of life to reduce dis-ease, pain, and anxiety.
With extensive post-graduate training in Five Element Acupuncture, Meridian Balance Acupuncture, and Natural Functional Nutrition. Ronald continues to grow and cultivate his practitioner skillset. When not at work, Ronald enjoys connecting with nature, cycling, hiking, practicing yoga, exploring local parks with his dog, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and exploring the world through travel.
