S 2 Ep 21 - Life Can Be A Marathon with Dr. Michelle Quirk
Wednesday Apr 29, 2020
Wednesday Apr 29, 2020
In this episode of Thrive Bites, I chat with Dr. Quirk on how running & fitness came into her life serendipitously. Then she became a running certified running coach and now she assists others to increase their physical activity!
In the midst of a lively career in pediatrics, Dr. Michelle Quirk discovered that running could change her life in 2012, and quickly fell in love. She embraced the sport by becoming a certified run coach with the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), a local Girls on the Run coach, a Disney World-loving marathoner, and a triathlete. She’s taken on the challenges of short and long-distance races across the country.
Michelle developed the Mindful Marathon to help others see what she’s learned—that running can fundamentally improve your life. She puts her focus on helping busy professionals discover how they too can embrace running and prioritize their well-being.
Michelle develops customized training plans for every type of runner—new, old, somewhere in between—and helps to fit those training plans into busy lives. With her help, Michelle’s athletes find their edge and achieve their goals.
